History

In March of 2009 owner, James Summers, opened the doors to Modern Arms, a licensed FFL Dealer and manufacturer, formally known as Knight Tactical. In January 2011, he moved the shop in our current location in Tempe, AZ and began development of the Multipurpose Selector Switch and specialized in custom AR15 builds. By the end of 2011, James patented the Weapon Control Device and began the process of bringing this innovative idea in weaponry to life. In December of 2013 the PS90 Weapon Control Device Kit became available to the public sector and the picatinny rail version and AR15 version are close behind. In July of 2014, Modern Arms became an SOT Dealer and James has started production on our Modern Arms silencers and machine guns.
