Shana Wingo, MD, FACOG, joined City of Hope in November 2023 as a Gynecologic Oncologist with 13 years of experience serving patients in the Phoenix area.

Tibor Kovacsovics, M.D. is a hematologic oncologist for City of Hope Cancer Center Phoenix (formerly Cancer Treatment Centers of America [CTCA]), in Goodyear, Arizona. As an experienced blood cancer doctor, Dr. Kovacsovics played an integral role in establishing the leukemia program at City of Hope Phoenix as its Medical Director. He was excited by the challenge of developing the program from the ground up and has a great passion for health equity. Dr. Kovacsovics brings with him 20 years of experience conducting clinical research on a variety of hematologic malignancies, serving as principal director and co-director on dozens of groundbreaking studies.

Jeremy T. Larsen, M.D. is a hematologic oncologist at City of Hope Cancer Center Phoenix (formerly Cancer Treatment Centers of America [CTCA]). He is on the hematologic malignancies team that focuses on treating blood cancers like leukemia, lymphoma and multiple myeloma. Dr. Larsen is especially excited to support the Stem Cell and Bone Marrow Transplant Program. He has extensive experience as a blood cancer doctor but also in cancer research, particularly in the area of immunotherapy. "My goal as a physician is to be present with my patients and build relationships with them so I can be a support throughout their cancer journey," says Dr. Larsen.
