I strive to explore and understand each patient's goals as I provide compassionate and evidence-based medicine as part of a multidisciplinary surgical team to meet those goals.

I approach each patient as an individual, no two patients are the same. I emphasize quality of life and tailor treatments to fit the individual lifestyles of my patients as much as possible. I consider different treatment paradigms without compromising cure or a patient's goal.

I don’t just focus on the disease that I am treating, but I look at the patient as a whole when evaluating and making treatment recommendations. I take into consideration their age, performance status, co-morbidities, and I respect their autonomy, wishes and consent. I make recommendations that I think is the best for each patient, and there would be no difference in how I would treat my own family members.
