Literacy Volunteers

Literacy Volunteers of Maricopa County (LVMC) is a community-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in Phoenix, Arizona, dedicated to improving lives by providing adult education. LVMC offers Adult Basic Education (ABE) to help adults enhance their reading, writing, and mathematical skills, as well as English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes.

With a focus on empowering adults in the community to become better candidates for sustainable employment and higher education, LVMC provides flexible, self-paced learning programs that include face-to-face classes, computer-based instruction, and remote tutoring.
