History

Lake Powell was created in 1963 when the Glen Canyon Dam held back the waters of the Colorado River, forming a vast blue lake surrounded by beautiful sandstone walls on the border of Arizona and Utah. Remarkably, it took 17 years for the lake to fill the canyon to the high water mark (3700' above sea level), giving America its second largest man-made lake - and a playground like no place else on earth. In 1980, Lake Powell reached 'full pool' - 3700' above sea level for the first time. Since then, it's become the ultimate destination for houseboating vacations. Lake Powell is arguably the most scenic lake in America, situated in some of Southern Utah's finest red-rock desert country.

Great food and super convenient to me while staying on the houseboat. Love the service and would love to see the menu expanded a bit.

Clearly they need to fix the hours here as it's only a summer place on the dock at Wahweap Marina and the summer of 2023 they didn't even bother to open it at all. When they do open it as long as...

Very friendly service and the food was super tasty. The bloody Mary's with the blue cheese stuffed olives were delicious.

Basically your only option for food around here. It's not bad--quite average food and the price is hiked up a bit given supply/demand. They do have a nice open area to sit and dine upstairs,...
