The City of Peoria Recreation Programs offers a variety of classes, programs and activities for the residents of the city. The division s adaptive recreation program provides recreational opportunities, including dancing and bowling for developmentally disabled individuals. Its children's programs offer sports, games, and arts and crafts classes. The City of Peoria Recreation Programs organizes the Tot Time and Tiny Tots programs for children between the ages of 4 and 5. The division provides the summer recreation program for children in kindergarten through grade eight. Its senior adult program hosts special events and trips for senior citizens.
