Originally nine families with seventeen children formed Kyrene School District. Today, we have 19 Elementary Schools and 6 Middle Schools with approximately 17, 500 students in 1, 000 classrooms located in 3 cities, Tempe, Chandler and Phoenix ( Ahwatukee ).Kyrene is a highly successful school district, from administrative overhead versus "in the class room" dollar figures to the national award winning technology program to achievement results much higher than the state average on the AIMS test.Kyrene's mission states" ensure continuous academic achievement and personal growth for every student. We take this very seriously and believe that Kyrene schools are up to the task just as we have been for the past 120 years

HORRIBLE... I just got out of that horrible situation 23 and biggest waste of my middle school years, the campus was dirty but definitely cleaner than DV, the teachers are horrible and mean they...

Incredibly disorganized. Tried to pick up my child a few hours early one day, and it took them more than 20 minutes to find her, even though I told them what teacher she had for that period. Ended...

The school as a campus is okay. Much cleaner than Desert Vista. The only problem is the teachers. I cannot stress how biased their opinions are. Most of them wre mean to me for no reason... Stuff...
