Rakesh Patel, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician with comprehensive training from Swedish Covenant Hospital and Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. He focuses on preventive care and the management of acute and chronic conditions to support overall well-being. Dr. Patel provides care in Hindi and Gujarati in addition to English, helping make healthcare more accessible to diverse patient populations. Dr. Patel views medicine as a bridge between art and science, taking a holistic approach to each patient’s health. He encourages active patient participation, creating individualized care plans through a team-oriented approach. He emphasizes education, believing that informed patients are empowered to take charge of their health. His practice centers on building long-term, trusting relationships that foster meaningful patient experiences through mutual respect and collaboration. Originally from Chicago, Dr. Patel now enjoys the year-round Arizona sunshine. He maintains an active lifestyle through volunteering, traveling, exploring nature and outdoor activities. He also enjoys spending time with family and friends and working on home improvement projects, bringing a well-rounded perspective to his medical practice.
