History

Karibu Family Care was started by husband and wife team, Anthony and Amy Msowoya, as a nurse practitioner owned and operated primary care clinic to serve the health needs of North Peoria and the surrounding areas, Our mission at Karibu Family Care is to always provide the type of care whereby a patient is not a number, but a person, and as such, deserves to be treated with respect, dignity, love, honesty, receptiveness, compassion and empathy while addressing the needs of mind, body and spirit. As a family-oriented care practice, we value the personal, one-on-one provider-patient relationship that benefits patients through providing continuous and consistent healthcare.

The specialty of family medicine is centered on long lasting, caring relationships between a provider and the patient. Anthony and Amy will coordinate your health care needs with other specialists as appropriate to provide YOU the best plan of care.
