Intermountain Centers

Intermountain Centers for Human Development is a private, nonprofit agency that offers community-based services to at-risk populations. Founded in 1973, the agency serves children and adults with emotional and developmental disabilities. It provides therapeutic foster care, intensive therapy, respite, crisis stabilization and semi-independent living programs. Intermountain Centers for Human Development designs therapeutic foster care programs for children and youths with behavioral, emotional and medical problems. Its semi-independent living residences are designed for youths in the age group of 16 to 18. The agency also provides multidisciplinary children and family teams that develop individualized plans to help families achieve goals. Intermountain Centers for Human Development maintains a presence in Chino Valley, Ariz.
