Glendale Public Works Department

The Public Works Group is a public agency that works with a team of more than 600 employees. It manages engineering, field operations, transportation and utilities departments. The group s engineering department is responsible for the design and construction of various city facilities, including buildings, streets, sewer, water lines and drainage systems. The Public Works Group also has a field operations department that offers preventative maintenance services, such as street sweeping, sidewalk repair, and refuse and recycling collection service. The group s utilities department is responsible for producing and distributing water, developing water conservation programs, and offers water and wastewater services. The Public Works Group is governed by the City of Glendale in Arizona.
