Welcome To Essence Medical CenterPaula Lima, NMD, is an experienced doctor of naturopathic medicine who provides compassionate and holistic care at Essence Medical Center. She sees patients in Chandler, Arizona, and welcomes those from surrounding communities.Dr. Lima was born in Brazil, where she learned cultural home remedies to many common illnesses. After moving to the US, she began to experience health issues of her own. Through her personal experiences and attempts to cure her conditions, her love for medicine began to flourish.Dr. Lima graduated from Arizona State University with a BSC in Human Nutrition and received her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. She then completed a competitive residency program, through which she further developed her skills.Among several areas of expertise, Dr. Lima specializes in treating patients with hormonal imbalances, weight loss, nutritional deficiencies, thyroid disease, and regenerative injections. In addition, she works diligently and collectively with patients to achieve optimal health through achievable goals.During her spare time, Dr. Lima enjoys hiking, traveling, camping, and enjoying time with friends and family. She looks forward to seeing new and returning patients at Essence Medical Center.
