Fikes Brace and Limb

History

Fikes Brace and Limb was founded in July 1996. Today it is a subchapter S-corporation with two subsidiaries, Phoenician Central Fab and Fikes Orthopedic Specialties in Show Low, Arizona. This expansion allows Fikes Brace and Limb to serve the entire Central and Northeastern half of Arizona, in addition to the Valley. Fikes Brace and Limb was founded and is currently owned by Ray Fikes and his wife Connie. Ray has a rich history of Orthotic and Prosthetic practice, not only as a medical caregiver, but as an entrepreneur, lobbyist and innovator. Ray was one of the founders and President of Lubbock Orthotic and Prosthetic Center in Lubbock, Amarillo and Odessa Texas. Ray was the architect of the growth of this company for ten years until realizing that he had built a large company at the expense of the quality of the medical care that his smaller company could give. At this point he sold his interest in this venture and moved to Arizona in September 1991.
