FPA's two physician founders, Dr. Paul A. Isaacson and Dr. Eleanor Powell Stanley. Dr. Issacson is a graduate of Tufts University School of Medicine. He Served his residency at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, the primary teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School. He is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and has been performing abortions since 1991. He speaks spanish fluently. Dr Stanley is a graduate of George Washington University Medical School. She completed residency training at University of New Mexico. An abortion provider since 1994, she is Board Certified in OB-Gyn and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology.
