History

DroneState started during the pandemic. Although a new company, Rollin Batten (Owner and operator) has the experience you would expect from a full fledged company. Rollin began his journey over 7 years ago by photographing homes for his father. Fast forward a couple of years and Rollin made it into college pursuing a degree in Film and Media Production from Arizona State University. After graduating with a Bachelors degree, he went and got his part 107 license (drone pilots license) and began shooting aerial imagery. Shortly after, the pandemic hit. Now jobless, Rollin decided to take matters into his own hands and form DroneState.
