Dr. Josiah Nwaokwa is committed to providing holistic and compassionate care to the population in our community from ages 17 years and above to restore, improve, and maintain optimal mental health. In the course of providing treatment for my clients, I incorporate psychotherapy, Christian counseling, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, reality orientation, counseling, meditation, health education on diet & exercise, and positive reinforcement. I am committed to collaborative care, which means I consider overall physical, mental, emotional, and social issues and make referrals when necessary to other healthcare specialists.
