Desert Edge High School offers a range of academic and extracurricular options. Its syllabus includes mathematics, science, social studies, English, language arts and music. The school organizes a variety of athletic activities that includes football, basketball, softball, and track and field. It conducts classes in fine arts, computer applications and special skills. The school also maintains a library and media center that stocks books and periodicals and provides links to search engines. Its facilities include a career center that provides college and scholarship information services. In addition, the school supports the National Honor Society, as well as operates dance, key and chess clubs. Located in Goodyear, Ariz., Desert Edge High School is a part of the Agua Fria Union High School District, which governs various educational institutes.
