The Southern Arizona Law Enforcement Foundation (SALEF) is a local police charity organization. SALEF is a 501c3 non-profit charitable organization (TIN 20-0559408). Established in 2003, SALEF has funded critical life-saving protective equipment, technology items & officer safety training opportunities. SALEF has provided the following: Patrol K9 service dogs, Bomb detection service K9's, throwbot robots, pelican lights, LRAD devices, rolling ballistic shields, individual officer ballistic and rifle grade shields, a buy/bust vehicle, graffiti abatement cameras and technology, patrol motorcycles, window tint test meters, weapon safety holsters, a large variety of special operations equipment and protective gear and over 450 ballistic vests.
