Founded in 1970, The Haven is a nonprofit, treatment center that helps women in recovering from substance use disorders. The organization offers group and individual therapy sessions, as well as psychoeducational classes. It provides, The Mother/Child Program for mothers who have been reunited and are in the process of being reunited with their children. The Haven also provides after-care programs. The organization operates residential facilities for single working graduates. It offers family education, anger management, stress reduction, and parenting skills and assertiveness training.
