Apache Junction Parks & Recreation Department provides a range of services to the area community with recreational programs and parks, trail and recreational facilities. Located in Apache Junction, Ariz., the department is part of the city s administrative divisions. The other divisions comprise human resources, development services, economic development, public safety and public works. The public works department is responsible for the maintenance of the city s engineering, stormwater collection and disposal of the city s garbage. The department is also responsible for the maintenance of the city s roads, drains and city buildings.
