Camp Sky-Y is a camp for boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 16. The camp is part of the YMCA Camps organization. Camp SKY-Y has served children and families for more than 60 years. The staff places an emphasis on helping the camper build self-esteem and confidence. Campers have the opportunity to grow personally as they progress through each age group or unit. The Discovery Unit is for ages 7 to 8, while the Explorer Unit is for ages 9 to 12 and the Challenger Units consists of 13-to-16-year-olds. Sky-Y activities include horseback riding, archery, arts and crafts, air rifles, climbing-tower, paintball, backpacking, rock climbing, mountain biking, campouts, overnight hikes, canoeing, swimming, sports and a morning chapel. The camp also offers the YMCA Rag & Leather character development program. Camp Sky-Y is located in Prescott, Ariz.
