Susan Bartlett Hackenmiller, MD, is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology as well as integrative medicine. She specializes in women's health across all ages, utilizing integrative approaches such as nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress management, mind-body techniques and bioidentical hormone therapy as needed. Dr. Hackenmiller was drawn to integrative medicine after her son was diagnosed with autism and her late husband with cancer. Grounded in nature, her journey inspires a deep dive into patient histories to uncover and address root causes of illness. With extensive training, Dr. Hackenmiller crafts personalized treatments using diverse integrative approaches. Originally from Iowa, she loves to mountain bike, hike, trail run, practice yoga and play the piano. She also enjoys traveling and visiting her adult children around the country.

David Pisarcik, DO is a fellowship-trained rheumatologist with special interest in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, gout, myositis, as well as general rheumatology. Dr. Pisarcik grew up in Northeastern Pennsylvania but relocated to Arizona for his undergraduate studies. After earning his degree in Nutritional Sciences from The University of Arizona, he returned to Pennsylvania for medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Pisarcik completed an internal medicine residency at Indiana University in Indianapolis and then completed a fellowship training in rheumatology at The Ohio State University. Outside of medicine, Dr. Pisarcik enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, hiking, skiing, and sports.

Dr. Shad's philosophy of care is holistic and custom tailored to each patient, not just their medical history or medication list. He believes that each person should be treated like a whole person with complex needs in all areas of life including mind, body and spirit. With an emphasis on wellness, prevention, integrative medicine and the use of food as medicine, Dr. Shad's focus areas include the treatment and evaluation of patients with high blood pressure, diabetes, metabolic syndrome and disorders, and heart disease and related risk factors. He optimizes for health, performance and longevity. When appropriate, evidence based use of supplements can be used in treatment plans.
