History

Residential Renovations started with assisting the renovation of my Mother's home. Her home was built in the early 1920's. This presents challenges with the size of the lumber that was used. In the 1920's the lumber was rough cut at a local saw mill to specific sizes. So, a 2x4 was in fact 2 inches by 4 inches. Todays current 2x4's are 1.5 inches by 3.5 inches with rounded edges. I have always been handy around the house, like to work with wood.
