Black Canyon Heritage Park has a short accessible trail that goes around our pond and along which you can see our butterfly and bird areas plus interpretative signs. We provide visitors of all ages and physical abilities a variety of experiences that instill stewardship for the surrounding area's outstanding environmental offerings. We have a picnic area where you can relax enjoying the views. Our Visitor Center space is shared with the Black Canyon City Chamber of Commerce, which manages the Arizona Department of Tourism Information Center. This space also serves as a Gateway Visitor Center to the Bureau of Land Management’s Agua Fria National Monument.

Nice place to go for a stroll and see some birds. We saw some bright red flycatchers and a couple of hummingbirds. The paths, while not being abutted to the creek, still allows near access to see...

Such a hidden gem. Totally worth the drive up from phx. The path was very enjoyable. And the pond makes for an exciting surprise. Frogs were happily singing while we were there.
