Michael S Chang, MD - Sonoran Spine Center

Taylor was born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona. With a passion for healthcare, fitness and orthopedic mechanics, Taylor pursued an education at the University of Arizona, where he surrounded himself with some of the brightest minds in Sports Medicine. As a volunteer and athletic training technician at the Kasser Sports Medicine facility, he aided in the rehabilitation and care of the university athletes. Taylor graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a minor in Biochemistry. He continued his passion for athletics and sports medicine as a physical therapy technician prior to continuing his studies. Taylor was accepted to PA school at Sullivan University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Louisville, Kentucky, where he chased his dream of orthopedic medicine. After selecting an elective in Orthopedic Spine Surgery, Taylor developed a deeper passion for orthopedics, with particular interest in the physiology of the spine. After graduation, Taylor pursued a career in Orthopedic Spine Surgery as a PA-C in sunny Santa Barbara, CA. While he loved the beauty of the California coast, the desert was home. Family is everything, and it was an easy decision return to the Valley. He now has the honor to assist Dr. Michael Chang in complex spine cases, scoliosis-corrective surgery, and the enduring emphasis in overall spine health.
