Well, let me think back to when I was living in the OC at eight years old. Every Saturday morning my Dad and I made the pilgrimage to LA's Canter's Deli on Fairfax just for bagels, lox, a few pounds of pastrami, corned beef, and rye bread ... especially the rye bread. This held us over for a week or so. Like those years in the past, the roaming merchants moved from town to town offering their wares. Circa 2010 ...
