Tucked behind a vine-covered archway in the heart of downtown Yuma is the enchanted Sanguinetti House Museum and Gardens — the Jewel of Historic Yuma. The Sanguinetti House Museum is a cherished page in Yuma’s history books. Former proprietor, E. F. Sanguinetti (1867-1945), is recognized in history as the “Merchant Prince of Yuma” for his vision and grit that sparked a string of businesses spanning multiple industries in Yuma County. Sanguinetti left an indelible mark as one of Yuma’s most influential change-makers. The Sanguinetti House Museum and Gardens is a testament to his legacy.
