She discovered her interest in neuropathy - and thus podiatric care - while she was observing neuropathy research at ASU. Dr. Kosak ultimately earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago. She went on to finish her surgical foot and ankle residency program through NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Kosak was among the first generation of podiatrists to complete this competitive residency program. After Dr. Kosak completed her medical training, she relocated back to Arizona, where she originally began her higher education. She was part of a team of doctors who specialized in limb salvage and wound care at Tucson Medical Center. Dr. Kosak decided to establish her roots in Arizona and go into private practice, so she could focus on her true passion: compassionate and comprehensive patient care. Because Dr. Kosak wants her patients to be able to get all of their foot and ankle care needs met under one roof, she has state-of-the-art ultrasound and digital X-ray systems on-site.
