History

In 2013 International Board Certified Lactation Consultants, Jennie Bever and Desiree Allison had a dream to have a breastfeeding center that would provide the highest quality care to moms in the valley. We hoped this center would be a place for moms to gather, learn about breastfeeding, and nurture their growing families. There are only a small handful of centers like this across the United States. We have grown to 5 IBCLCs on staff with over 45 years of helping moms breastfeed between us! We have incredibly high professional standards in our office and expect our lactation consultants to stay current with evidence based research. We have a broad range of expertise from Biochemistry, Medical Anthropology, Birth Doula, Breastfeeding Counseling, Deep Knowledge of all aspects of breastfeeding. We can help in the most difficult of situations and provide help for moms with general questions. We are also expanding our services to meet new moms' needs! Stay tuned for more.

Specialties

At the Arizona Breastfeeding Center, we specialize in nurturing mothers. We offer comprehensive breastfeeding support by IBCLCs (International Board Certified Lactation Consultants). In-network providers available for many Aetna and BCBS of AZ plans. Other insurance companies in Pheonix do not have contracts with IBCLCs. We provide a superbill and support for the claims.
