Founded in 1995 by Jan Vickery and Shirin Bhaloo, Ahwatukee Foothills Montessori comprises of staff, students, parents and administrators working together to enhance each child's social, emotional, physical and academic qualities. The Montessori offers a full-program of enrichment, social and cultural activities, reading, social studies, mathematics, science, Spanish and art. The Montessori provides full- and half-day programs and is a member of the American Montessori Society. It operates five-days a week and offers individualized programs. Ahwatukee Foothills Montessori is based in Phoenix.
