Albatross Yacht Club

Albatross Yacht Club, located in Mt Clemens, MI, is a sailboat racing club that offers members the opportunity to sail in Anchor Bay on northern Lake St. Clair. In association with the Anchor Bay Yacht-Racing Association (ABYRA), they manage the Tuesday Night Twilight Race Series and sponsor several Invitational races. With a focus on promoting races and events in Anchor Bay ABYRA and beyond, Albatross Yacht Club provides sailors and sailboat owners with an outstanding array of resource tools, education, and workshops.

Established in 1972 by a group of sailors along South River Rd on the Clinton River, Albatross Yacht Club was created as a paper club to allow sailors to race and cruise together as a club while enjoying the benefits of yacht club membership at lower dues. With a rich history and a commitment to providing members with the opportunity to learn to sail and race, Albatross Yacht Club offers a welcoming community for those who have always dreamed of sailing on the Great Lakes and enjoying the refreshing air breezes on beautiful Lake St. Clair.
