Great little event venue with lots of room for the Great Alaska Beer and Barleywine Festival. Good spaces upstairs with a coat check and plenty of bathroom space downstairs. I didn't see elevators...

The William A. Egan Civic & Convention Center hosts a variety of meetings and events throughout the year, such as small, intimate local group and large-scale and multipleday conventions. It is spread over an area of more than 45,000 square feet of meeting, exhibit and pre-function space. The center also maintains the Explorers Hall and a boardroom that can be used for smaller presentations, meetings and banquet ceremonies. The William A. What a beautiful civic center! There are live trees growing inside, native art, and everything is so clean. I especially liked the breastfeeding cubicle provided for Moms to have some privacy.

We attended the Alaskans For Personal Freedom conference. About 600-700 people. The audio system was fair. But the food servers were outstanding. Very smooth, very quiet, very pleasant....
