History

Since 1997, The Auction Block has been buying and offloading fresh fish from the Homer docks. In 2010 we opened up a retail seafood market and deli, The Fish Pitchin Kitchen. We specialize in preparing the freshest local fish sandwiches and chowders, crab cakes, roasted pork BBQ sandwiches, seafood salads, ceviche, smoked fish dips, fresh baked breads and cookies.

Specialties

Choose a fillet from our fresh seafood case for a custom made chowder, sandwich or salad. Also supplying the public with fresh & frozen seafood items. We unload all varieties of Alaskan Seafood daily from local fishing boats. Come see the process then dine outside amongst the eagles and mountains on a King Crab cake sandwich or Rockfish ceviche. We sell all kinds of fresh and frozen Halibut, Sablefish, Salmon, Rockfish, Lingcod, Smoked Salmon -Cajun, Lemon pepper or Traditional, King Crab , Sidestripe Shrimp, Scallops, Razor clams, and more.
