Talkeetna Gear Shop

Located in a log cabin at 14008 E Second St, our shop specializes in used gear and rentals for your outdoor adventure. Our used gear consignment shop has anything from tents, sleeping bags and cook stoves to technical clothing, skis and cycling equipment and accessories. In summer months we have a wide variety of rental bikes to choose from for all skill levels. With miles of forested trails and stunning views of Denali, Talkeetna is a bike-lover's paradise. Talkeetna is also home to several gorgeous lakes and is based at the convergence of three major rivers. If you are looking to explore these bodies of water, we also offer paddle board and pack raft rentals! In winter months we rent fat tire bicycles, nordic skis and snowshoes. Our trail system triples in size and with an average snowfall of 109" per year, winter exploration is incredible! We also offer guided tours year round.
