The Takshanuk Mountain Trail puts you up close and personal with raw Alaskan wilderness. If you're looking for an activity that is a little more hands-on, hop into a Kawasaki Mule utility vehicle for a tour that climbs 1,500 feet through lush Alaskan forest. With a guide leading the way, you'll pass over meandering mountain streams and cruise past back country waterfalls, stopping along the way to enjoy crisp mountain air and snap lots of photos. You'll certainly want your camera handy when you reach the top of the trail because a magnificent overlook area provides a stunning view of Chilkoot Lake and the Upper Lynn Canal, North America's longest and deepest fjord. To cap off the experience you'll be treated to fresh baked cookies and our famous beer-battered halibut and roasted chicken meal at our exclusive mountain lodge.
