Southeast Customs

Formerly known as the Home Builders Association of Juneau, the Southeast Alaska Building Industry Association, also known as SEABIA, is a nonprofit trade association. Established in 1977, it promotes the building industry in Southeast Alaska. The company is affiliated with the Alaska State Home Builders Association (ASHBA) and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). The Southeast Alaska Building Industry Association administers the Alaska Building Standards Council, which promotes safe housing standards. It serves various contractors, homeowners, inspectors, banks and lenders. The company also conducts a variety of educational and advocacy programs.
