The remodel South Peninsula Hospital is now complete and open for patient use, including a 1, 300 square foot addition to house a new MRI unit inear the hospital's main entrance. The new Seimen's MRI offers advanced, state of the art technology which provides improved flexibililty, speed, resolution and accuracy of MRI studies. It has a wide bore and a super short magnet which allows many studies to be completed with the patient's head outside the bore. SPH is one of the first locations on the west coast of the United States to utilize this advanced technology.
