I was surprised to see so many people who passed recently. I was expecting to see old pre 2000 dates. It is somber when you these memorials at every port. I go to work, I come home bad things...

What do you say about this memorial? It's nice, but of course sad. However you can read the name of those lost at sea, take in the views of the spit, and catch a glimpse of the bald eagles flying...

This is a monument in Homer on the Spit. There is free parking and some picnic tables. There is also a Pokémon Go Gym here. The views of the mountain range and ocean are beautiful. It is a nice...

This is an awesome memorial on the end of the Spit. We did take the free shuttle from our cruise ship to this area on the Spit; however, the walk is lovely and can easily be done without needing...
