Kodiak Community Health Center began operations in January 2004 and has grown rapidly in response to the high level of community need and positive response the exceptional care we provide our patients. It is a federally qualified health center that possesses a state-of-the-art health center and offers a range of primary and preventative health services. The health center also provides referral arrangements, such as mental health treatment and counseling, substance abuse service, specialty care as well as hospitalizations.

The laboratory at Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center provides comprehensive medical laboratory testing services, including high-complexity testing. Our staff is trained and equipped to complete most tests in our facility, so you and your doctor get results quickly and conveniently.The laboratory is located on the second floor (main floor) of the hospital near the emergency department. We are proud to be a Joint Commission accredited laboratory

Founded in 1966, the Kodiak Area Native Association works to provide health and social services for the Alaska natives of the Koniag region. Located in Kodiak, Alaska, the organization offers a series of services, such as ambulatory medical care/dental care, pharmacy, contract health, community health aide program, substance abuse prevention, intervention/outreach, social services and nonclinical community mental health. Its other services include vocational rehabilitation, early childhood programs, employment training, infant learning program and tribal operations/environmental health.
