Dr. Bret Mason is a subspecialist in Orthopaedic Traumatology. He uses several modalities in treating orthopaedic injuries including cartilage regeneration technique. Many injuries are amenable to arthroscopic and minimally invasive techniques. Arthroscopic Surgery when performed on joints, is usually a same day (Outpatient) surgery. This means no overnight hospital stay is needed. The advantage of arthroscopy over traditional open surgery is that the joint does not have to be opened up fully.
