Sun'aq Tribe of Kodiak is a federally recognized Alaska native tribe. Located in Kodiak, Alaska, the group represents more than 1,500 Sun'aq tribal members who reside on the island of Kodiak, on other islands in the Kodiak Archipelago, elsewhere in Alaska and Hawa'ii. It is dedicated to rebuilding traditional political and cultural institutions and practices. The group builds and supports Sun'aq tribal unity, cultural identity and lifeways. The people of this tribe blend the traditional lifeways of its tribal ancestors with the customs and practices of the many nations, such as Russia, China and Scandinavia.

Kodiak Women's Resource & Crisis Center (KWRCC) is dedicated to serving individuals affected by domestic violence and sexual assault on Kodiak Island. They provide a range of services, including emergency safe housing, a 24-hour crisis line, emotional support, legal advocacy, and community education. The mission of KWRCC is to empower victims and their children to live free from fear and violence while promoting awareness and prevention of such issues within the community.
