Lynch & Kennedy, located in Skagway, AK, boasts 30 years of offering fine Alaskan art, jewelry, and unique gifts sourced from artists across the state. Among their selection are Northwest Coast native art, fossilized woolly mammoth tusks, hand-blown glass ornaments, moose antler carvings, and Alaskan gold nuggets. Originally a dry goods store opened in 1908 by Henry J. Lynch and James F. Kennedy, the building has a rich history dating back to the Klondike Gold Rush of 1897-98. After changing purposes over the years, the National Park Service restored the building in 1977, leading to its reincarnation as an art gallery in 1993 under the ownership of Rosemary Libert and Karl Klupar. Rosemary, with a background in arts and experience working for the National Park Service, curates a collection that reflects her passion for Alaskan artistry. Visitors can explore over a century of history and two decades of expertise to find the perfect Alaskan memento, be it a sculpture, totem, diamond ring, or area rug, to commemorate their visit to Alaska.
