Exclusive Juneau Rainforest Garden specializes in displaying, identifying and discussing historical uses of Southeast Alaska indigenous vegetation. Guests view seasonal wildflowers, huge swamp cabbage, devil's club, towering Sitka spruce (State tree), tiny forget-me-nots (State flower) and much more while leisurely strolling through incredible diversity on a 1000 foot path. Watch for pleasant surprises and photo ops along the way. Afterwards, enjoy a gratis cup of tea and snack under a 70 foot pavilion among natural science and floral displays while resident educators / owners host questions about Alaska. An off the beaten path experience. Shin-rin yoku
