McLaughlin Youth Center, located in Anchorage, Alaska, offers a variety of secure detention, alternatives to detention and long-term treatment programs. McLaughlin Youth Center s Community Detention Program offers intensive supervision of youth at home, school and work. It operates a community detention school in cooperation with McLaughlin High School for students who have dropped out or expelled. McLaughlin Youth Center organizes several victim impact classes for youth in both detention and treatment.
