Established in 1978, Northern Orthopedics is a prosthetic-orthotic facility in Alaska. The center offers a range of services, such as computer-automated design, electrics, ultra-lite materials and custom bracing. Its full-service in-house fabrication laboratory provides various fabrication facilities to its patients. The center has accreditation with the American Board for Certification in Orthotics & Prosthetics and the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists. It accepts a number of insurances plans, including Medicare, Medicaid, Private Insurances and Tricare.
