Geographic Marine Expeditions

History

Geographic Marine Expeditions developed as an offshoot from its parent marine research company operating across Alaska. It is our own love of exploration that drew us into the research vessel industry and that work has opened the door to many hidden and amazing places, from the Aleutian Islands to our home, Kodiak Island, and on throughout Prince William Sound and the Inside Passage. Our research cruises have varied from coastal bird and mammal surveys, to deep sea oceanography, to undersea exploration in support of marine archeology. In 2015 we began offering tours developed out of the best of these encounters and featuring experiences too awe-inspiring not to share.
