Master Knueppel started training in Tae Kwon Do in 1981 while in college at Moorhead State University. After graduation, he moved to the Chicago suburbs and studied both Tae Kwon Do and Hap Ki Do for over 12 years with GrandMaster Sang Chel Chung of Chicago before heading off to Palmer, Alaska.
