Really a great value on lodging near Denali. It is a drive from the park entrance, but I feel like you really want a car here to avoid being dependent on the tourist traps. Cabins are clean and...

History
Otto Stoepler came to Alaska as a rural bush teacher decided to homestead and offering lodging to weary travelers in Summer of '59. The original lodge is still used as our office today! We've added more cabins though the years right along Carlo Creek. This year come join the new owners - Tammie and Dan Miller for a true Alaskan experience near Denali National Park.
Specialties
Carlo Creek Cabins was homesteaded in 1959. The Cabins were built by the original owners, and owned by Alaskans every since. We are right next to the most beautiful Carlo Creek. 12 miles from the Park Entrance but far enough away to see and experience real Alaska with locals. Food places close by.
