Specialties
Rice Lake native, chiropractic physician, manual therapist, spine rehabilitation doctor, dad and a lover of the Wisconsin Northwoods who enjoys hiking and backpacking. My passion is helping people with chronic, debilitating neck and back pain to eliminate their pain and restore a sense of comfort and well-being. I begin with passive care where I apply any number of therapies to the patient while they sit or lie down. My intention is to transition the patient into the role of an active participant in their own recovery process as quickly as possible. My goal is to create smart, informed, proactive patients who are equipped with the tools and know-how to keep their pain away for themselves without being dependent on passive care such as pain meds, chiropractic visits and so forth. I want my patients ultimately to be dependent upon themselves and not me. Areas of special interest in manual therapy include: Diversified technique, motion palpation, and post-isometric relaxation. Special interests in rehabilitation/active care include the McKenzie Method and the world-renowned Dr. Stuart McGill protocols. My ideal patient is someone with a positive attitude who values their health and who not only seeks short-term pain relief and symptom reduction but long term health, well-being and happiness by becoming an active participant in their own healing process.
