Alaska Judo is the governing body for the Olympic sport and martial art of Judo in Alaska. They provide physical fitness opportunities, clinics, and tournaments for children, adults, and families throughout the year. Joining one of their registered martial arts schools allows individuals to get in better shape, make new friends, learn self-defense, compete, and have fun.

Alaska Judo honors the memory of Sensei Dee High, a beloved Judo Sensei and longtime Alaska resident, by changing the name of their annual state Judo tournament to the Dee High Memorial Alaska State Judo Championships. Sensei High dedicated his life to the judo community in Alaska, mentoring and educating people about the importance of judo as a healthy and disciplined athletic opportunity. His legacy lives on through the multitude of people he served and whose lives he changed for the better.
